No offence but your answers have been usless so far… i know its for defending and has nothing to do with attacking but you don’t have to surprise someone if they don’t know aikido, being a karate or jujitsu fighter and emegencies is on the street you can do aikido anywhere, i just want some link to real aikido fights not demonstrations.

No because when people start to fight back. That’s when Aikido starts to suck. Sorry to bust your dreams.
do you think with aikido skills you can wristlock or grab some heavyweight powerful boxers??or wrestlers?or win a tough guy competitions?and just throw them like you saw in aikido dokjo or steven seagal movies??ive never seen anything like that in real life experience…only in demos or movies..but i saw real fights using punching kicking grappling and usually the toughest survive..only if you are lucky you might end the fight fast by hitting vital points accurately with power…or else fight wont be that short period of time..when both party agreed to a fight and element of surprises wont work…fighter are ready not to any how throw punches or kicks..they will feint their attack etc…so to me aikido only good for basic knowledge of self defence against amateur attacker but not against pro
Aikido’s effectiveness will only be functional in state of emergency.If you really understood aikido, even Goliath won’t be able to touch you.The guy who thinks aikido is just like seagal movies,hmmffff.He should learn more.
